Blush, to wear or be square......

Every women needs blush, the reason is that blush is a magical tool that wakes your face up no matter how tired it looks. I think the problem is in the application, type of blush and the art of matching the correct blush with your skin-tone. There are 3 main types of blush, powder is the most popular, creme is the most versitile and liquid is the most difficult.

(1) For light or fair compextions go with apricot and peachy tones.

(2) For tan-med complextions go with gold and rose tones, also coral looks beautiful.

(3) For dark and my chocolate girls berry tones and believe it or not, orange.

When applying powder blush you want to use a blush brush (they are usually angled which is great because it glides along your cheeks)

you want to apply lightly on the apples of your cheeks (its easier to add more blush then take away). With creme blush it looks more natural when you apply it with your fingers, you can also mix two or more shades to create a new one for yourself. Liquid, for me tends to be very messy and is best applied with a sponge, if done right cheeks look flushed. Apply in an area with natural light if possible.
Adding blush to your daily routine takes an extra minute but the results are noticable. Have fun with it and if all else fails, bronzer works for everyone. Love you mean it!
Your girl,
