Since I have had children my stomach is way out of proportion for the rest of my body. I usually buy clothes that are way too big i order to cover my stomach but these big clothes make me look huge. I have also tried bodyshapers but they are painful. Any suggesstions?

Amber that is a great question, I think the first thing you need to do is buy pieces that fit, you also want to buy quality pieces.

For example great fitting jeans, a blazers

or more empire waist style tops and dress,

you want to stay away from spandex, cheap fabrics and extra busy patterns.

You want to use wide belts to help create a waist as well as help hold in your stomach.

The rule of thumb is if you wear a super fitted bottom wear a loose top, fitted top, loose bottom. And last but not least body shapers are awesome, I myself own a few mainly to smooth everything out, but you again can not buy a cheap one.

Invest in two pair a black pair and a flesh tone pair to start, you want to buy one true to your size, buying a smaller size hurts you more then help you, wearing a smaller size creates muffin tops and all kinds of additional problems. Spanks are a really good brand to go with. At the end of the day just have fun with whatever you decide and keep it fab with a pair of heels!
