Finding your perfect shade of foundation
Makeup can be so hard, when it really isn't suppose to be. The base of all of it is foundation. If the foundation is off, the whole face is off. How many times have you seen pictures or a person and the foundation doesn't quite match? Well, I got the sure fire way to get it right!First things first, figure out want type of skin you have and what type of coverage you need.
For example if you have combination skin and want a very fresh and light look, go with a tinted moisturizer or a liquid foundation, this offers the lightest coverage.
Cream foundation offers more coverage if you need it.
There are 3 secrects to matching up the perfect foundation, first you want to be in a room with plenty of natural light, so be very careful trying step two in a store with those aweful ceiling lights. Second, when looking at foundations, look at the three closet to your skin color and test it on your jaw line, that is the truest place to test (please don't test on the back of your hand)the one that you can blend in and disappears is yours, so bring a mirror or friend and be prepared to walk outside to make sure.
And last be never least blend, blend, blend! You can use a brush,
sponge
or your fingers but blend until it is gone. Don't forget your neck while wearing foundation, so many of us do and remember you usually have to have a summer foundation and winter foundation, remember all of this and you will always be on point!
Always your girl,
