So pastels have really made an impression on us this spring in clothes and shoes, why not in makeup too. I know we all remember our moms wearing powder blue eyeshadow, and crazy red lips but this trend has made a more refined comeback. I think what we need to realize this go around is the color choices have clearly doubled, the quality of makeup has truly improved, and we are not just limited to our eyes. The secret to this look is in the application.If you are going for a more dramatic, make sure that you go full force, eyes, cheeks, lips, if you are very fair skinned, you will have to apply more.
The look works for black women as well, honestly the darker the better, but you have to blend, blend, blend.
For my girls that want to ease into this look, its okay to focus on one feature, but the eyes are the easiest and most popular.
I am all for making a statement and turning heads, but if you are not careful, you can look like a clown.
But who am I to judge, just have fun and if you decide it is not your cup of tea, just wipe it off, its only makeup.
