How to go vintage without looking frumpy......

Happy Saturday girls! Any one that knows me knows I love vintage clothes, the 60's is my favorite era, I love that ladies looked like ladies. How do you get this look with out it looking frumpy, that is the key. The best way is to base your look on one thing, it could be the hair,

makeup,

accessory, shoes or clothes

. What ever piece you decide on made sure it is in tack. Next you want to make sure your fit is right,, an ill fitting dress or top or what ever can kill your look before you even leave the house, so please put on a belt if needed. Finally, if you don't own the look, you might as well not do it, I know I say this all the time but honestly it shows all over you. No matter which era is you favorite, when shopping for vintage pieces inspect each item, try it on before you buy, be honest with yourself on if you will even wear it or fix it if it is damaged. Have fun with it, there is nothing more awesome then having a story about a killer piece.
